Long Term Care Pharmacy Associate

Scope of Responsibilities

• Works under direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.

Job Summary

Assist pharmacy staff in the filling of incoming prescriptions.

Job Duties

• Provide quality customer service to all customers.
• Aid in the stocking of inventory from supplier orders.
• Restock workstation filling supplies.
• Print delivery manifest.
• Scan medications to proper bins.
• Perform housekeeping duties necessary to maintain a professional environment.
• Complete all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Attendance Requirements

• Must be available, and on-time for scheduled work shifts.

Educational Requirements

• Minimum: High School Diploma (or currently enrolled) or GED.
• PREFERRED: AS Degree or Higher.

Experience Requirements

• PREFERRED: Hospital or retail pharmacy experience.

Registration Requirements

• Vermont Employees Only: Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician.
• New Hampshire Employees Only: Registered with the State of New Hampshire as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Ohio Employees Only: Registered with the State of Ohio as a Pharmacy Technician.

Compensation

$16.50 - 18.00 per hour. The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
