Long Term Care LPN Unit Manager

About the role

Join Emerald Nursing & Rehab Lancaster in Lincoln, Nebraska as a LPN Long-Term Care Unit Manager. You will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents in a fast-paced and dynamic long-term care environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the long-term care unit, ensuring that all residents receive high-quality care and services
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each resident
• Manage and delegate tasks to a team of licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and certified nursing assistants (CNAs)
• Conduct regular rounds to ensure that all residents are receiving appropriate care and attention
• Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and reduce readmissions
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure that our unit remains compliant and innovative

Requirements

• Current LPN licensure in the state of Nebraska
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care or healthcare management
• Strong understanding of nursing principles and regulations
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
