The New Mexico Behavioral Health Institute provides care to New Mexicans across six different divisions including hospital level inpatient psychiatric care for both civil and forensic commitments, residential treatment for adolescents, outpatient care for people with behavioral health disorders, detox and residential substance use treatment, and skilled/long-term care. As the largest behavioral health complex in the state, inpatient/residential care is provided to over 250 New Mexicans every day, along with 400 outpatient clients a month. There are over 600 employees across all the divisions of NMBHI to ensure high-quality treatment and care is delivered.

Why does the job exist?

The position exists to support the operational and financial functions of the LTC division at NMBHI. This role ensures accurate and timely billing and data entry.

How does it get done?

The position facilitates collaboration between clinical, finance, and administration to ensure that patient information and billing are processed accurately and efficiently.

Minimum Qualification

No prior experience or training required.

Employment Requirements

  • Must possess a valid Drivers License
  • Must obtain a Defensive Driving Certificate

Working Conditions

This position will work in an office setting, computer and phone usage. The work is performed in a long-term care facility.
