Key Responsibilities

  • Build and strengthen relationships with community physicians, schools, athletic programs, and local organizations to support referral growth and community engagement.
  • Identify opportunities for informal collaborations and mutually beneficial partnerships that support the HSS mission.
  • Cultivate trusted relationships that enable personal introductions between community physicians and HSS specialists.
  • Prepare targeted messaging for visits based on practice needs, prior interactions, referral patterns, and market insights.
  • Increase awareness of HSS regional locations, services, programs, and clinical advances.
  • Use independent judgment to coordinate high-impact engagements - office visits, virtual meetings, educational events, and community activations.

Strategic Analysis & Market Intelligence

  • Analyze internal referral data, demographics, and regional market research to identify key growth opportunities.
  • Collect and interpret field intelligence to understand drivers of referral behavior and opportunities to improve access and relationships.
  • Provide meaningful business insights to leadership and service line partners based on community conversations.
  • Document detailed relationship histories, outreach activities, and market insights.
  • Communicate the impact of outreach initiatives to internal stakeholders and leadership.
  • Optimize outreach processes to better track, measure, and evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Develop innovative collateral and educational materials to support outreach success.

Community Presence & Brand Growth

  • Lead public relations, community education, and awareness campaigns to elevate the HSS brand.
  • Arrange and participate in community events, school partnerships, sports collaborations, and health-focused initiatives that support regional strategy.
  • Facilitate access to HSS for students, athletes, faculty, families, and community members in need of orthopedic care.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing, healthcare administration, marketing, or related field.
  • 5–7 years of clinical, sales, outreach, or healthcare marketing experience.
  • Strong general medical knowledge, particularly related to orthopedic services and HSS programs.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, public speaking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent report writing, documentation, and organizational abilities.
  • Proven ability to exercise independent judgment, manage strategic outreach, and work effectively in a field-based role.
