Key Job Responsibilities
- Supervise all activities involved in the receiving, binning, picking, packing and shipping of service parts for Komatsu.
- Develop and maintain good safety and housekeeping procedures within the department in accordance with company policy and government regulations.
- Maintain an atmosphere of harmonious relations to prevent disputes from arising.
- Provide training, guidance, and counseling to immediate subordinates.
- Administer established security procedures within the department for the protection of company assets.
- Cooperate with other departments to foster a teamwork philosophy.
Qualifications/Requirements
- 2 Year degree, with a 4-year degree preferred, or 6 years’ warehouse supervision or equivalent experience.
- Mid-level CRT/PC skills.
- Must embrace change as an opportunity.
- Effective people skills.
- Ability to delegate and prioritize.
- Ability to analyze problems and make decisions for correction.
- Willingness to continue education, training through seminars, college, etc.
- Have an extreme sense of emergency.
- Solve all problems using the Komatsu Way.
Physical Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the associate is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations;
- The ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (life, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds.
- Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application information.
- The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
Hiring Range
Hiring Range: At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $64,640 - $80,800. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
