About the role
This job involves working with inventory to perform cycle counts, quality checks, and sorting jobs. Knowledge of silicon and its specifications is necessary.
Responsibilities
- Complete wafer sorting jobs for new shipments and customer orders
- Maintain sort job data and metrics
- Perform inventory specification quality checks
- Perform inventory cycle counts
- Cross train in Material Handler shipping and receiving stations
- Perform special inventory or warehouse projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of mechanical or electrical experience (preferred)
- Previous experience in a production environment
- Ability to read and understand technical procedures and instructions
- Effective communication skills

Physical Demands
- Moves/transports silicon wafers weighing up to 50 pounds
- Positions self to transfer wafers weighing up to 50 pounds
- Has good eye/hand coordination and good motor skills when dealing with wafers
- May ascend or descend a ladder carrying up to 50 pounds of wafers
- May traverse to put silicon wafers weighing up to 50 pounds on pallets, shelves, or in the WaferNet van
- May kneel to remove wafers on the floor weighing up to 50 pounds in the warehouse
- May prepare and inspect paperwork for shipping to clients
- May manually handle, repack, or restack pallets of finished product
- May package orders for out-of-town shipments
- May assist in warehouse maintenance (sweeping and mopping floors)
