Responsibilities

  • Load and unload freight to and from vehicles and containers
  • Unload inbound and outbound containers and sort according to size and destination
  • Read, decode, and decipher freight coding to expedite movement and traceability
  • Reconcile driver pick-up and delivery manifests
  • Label, weigh, and dimension freight
  • Perform cleanup activities to maintain safety and cleanliness of docks and warehouses
  • Record damaged shipments and misrouted freight on applicable reports
  • Maintain inventory, rotation, and inspection of freight in the warehouse
  • Complete required documentation and perform other duties as needed
  • Maintain quality standards for warehouse storage and service, communicating with both internal and external customers
  • Ensure a safe working environment
  • Complete other duties or tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in logistics or related field preferred
  • Ability to read, decode, and decipher freight coding
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of basic warehouse operations and safety protocols

Pay

The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
