Logistics Technician CDL

The Role

The Performance Materials division at BASF is seeking a Logistics Technician CDL to manage the efficient and timely movement of materials between warehouses and production plants. Key responsibilities include operating forklifts and semi-trucks, processing paperwork, and supporting internal workflows.

Responsibilities

• Work with operations to ensure material is delivered to the production plants in a timely manner.
• Complete paperwork for necessary internal transfers.
• Operate a semi-truck.
• Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks.
• Band and shrink wrap drums.
• Label containers as required.
• Complete other required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or GED with at least 6 months of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting (preferred).
• Class A CDL certification.
• Good computer skills.
• Forklift experience (preferred) and/or the ability to learn how to operate a forklift.
• Attention to detail, good communication and time management skills.
• Able to work with little direction.
• Able and willing to lift up to 50lbs occasionally.
