Logistics Technician
Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide front-line technical support for core warehouse applications, regional cross-dock platforms.
- Perform regular device updates, factory resets, and compliance audits using (MDM) tools.
- Aid in setting up user accounts, system access levels, and perform some light system maintenance.
- Assist with testing for any updates or new application rollouts.
- Maintain monitoring of automated reporting and flag data integrity or electronic data errors for escalation.
- Support systems training and provide technical guidance.
Educational Background / Work Experience
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent technical certification.
- Prior experience in logistics, cross-dock, and warehouse environments.
- Experience with logistics applications and cross-dock systems, including Warehouse Management Systems, Transportation Management Systems, Message Transformation / Data Mapping Tools.
- Experience with hardware configuration, setup, and maintenance, including handheld RF equipment (Microsoft, Android, and iOS), label printers, and all-in-one printers.
Skills & Competencies
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with mobile device configuration, software platforms, and basic hardware troubleshooting.
- Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and deductive reasoning to identify and resolve device and system errors quickly under pressure.
- Communication: Ability to explain technical instructions clearly to warehouse staff and management personnel.
- Structure & Focus: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet routine maintenance deadlines.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working on multiple tasks and willing to travel occasionally to support site deployments.
Physical And/or Mental Requirements / Working Conditions
- Physical Demands: Work is generally sedentary, with no specific need for physical coordination or effort. May require physical effort associated with using the computer to access information, or occasional standing, walking, lifting needed to carry out everyday activities.
- Hours: Can be extensive as well as occasionally staggered for multi-shift access. While performing the duties of this job, the employee rarely is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
- Specific Vision Requirements: Close vision and distance vision. Minimal travel maybe required for this role domestically and internationally, although typically within North America.

Expected Base Pay Range
The expected base pay range is $20.50 – $24.25 Hourly. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
