Logistics Team Lead

Job Responsibilities

Aid the logistics supervisor with daily operations and special projects.

Coordinate and assign tasks to the logistics team to ensure adequate coverage.

Ensure all drivers are prepared for their shifts with necessary supplies.

Collaborate with the dispatcher to provide alternative routes when needed.

Investigate, troubleshoot, and follow up on internal and external customer inquiries and issues.

Train new hires and provide ongoing training and support to the team.

Generate and review daily/weekly reports and escalate any issues to leadership.

Update routes in the database and reconcile route logs on a consistent basis.

Ensure all equipment and handheld electronic devices are functioning properly.

Serve as a backup driver when needed and perform dispatch duties.

Perform administrative and clerical duties as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
• 3 years of experience as a driver or courier

• Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Comfortable with handling lab specimens when needed
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
• At least 21 years of age

Pay Range

$20.50 - $30.00 per hour
