Labcorp is seeking a Logistics Team Lead to join our team in New Castle, DE Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 4:30pm – 1:00am; ability to cover 1st and 3rd shift and weekends as needed Job Responsibilities Assist logistics supervisor with day to day operations and special projectsCoordinate and assign work to the logistics team to ensure proper coverageEnsure all drivers are prepared for their shifts with the necessary suppliesWork with dispatcher to provide alternate routes when neededResearch, troubleshoot and follow up on internal and external customer inquiries and issuesTrain new hires and provide on-going training and support to the teamGenerate and review daily/weekly reports and escalate any issues to leadershipUpdate routes in the database and reconcile route logs on a consistent basis Ensure all equipment and handheld electronic devices are working properlyServe as back-up driver when needed and perform dispatch duties as neededPerform administrative and clerical duties as needed Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED or equivalent3 years or more experience as a driver or courier Preferred Qualifications 1 years or more of people leader experience Additional Job Standards Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-taskStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsBasic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft OfficeAbility to handle the physical demands of the positionComfortable with handling lab specimens when neededValid Driver’s License and clean driving recordBe at least 21 years’ old Are you an experienced Courier/Driver and looking for a leadership opportunity?
