Main Responsibilities
- Serve as an Asset Manager for all designated assets within the customer’s organization.
- Maintain an Accountable Property System of Record and the associated property management system to manage the inventory and disposition of accountable assets and equipment (including Information Technology equipment).
- Oversee and conduct regular physical inventories (monthly, quarterly, etc.) of customer assets to maintain 100% accountability and compliance with government guidelines.
- Maintain, develop, and monitor reports for productivity and enforcement of client service level agreements for inventory management and logistics.
- Perform quality control, repair part management, and property management for all client owned products and facility equipment.
- Oversee the entire supply chain process, from procurement to delivery to disposal.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain inventory of assigned equipment, goods, and materials.
- Conduct issuance and receiving of equipment to/from end users.
- Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
- Procurement Conduct credit card purchases of materials and goods with corresponding documentation to support contract and mission needs.
- Generate and maintain required documentation for purchases (Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Cost Comparisons, SSJ’s, DD250’s, Monthly Reports).
- Material Handling and Storage Receive, inventory, document, store, issue, package, ship, and dispose of equipment and materials.
- Assist Facilities Manager with vendor coordination, specifically related to material handling.
- Information Data Flow Generate, maintain, and submit the required data, documentation, and information supporting the logistics/asset management program for both Amentum and the customer.
- Track, monitor, and facilitate the status of organizational supply/logistics/accountability processes to ensure effective flow of goods, services, and related activities.
- Plan, develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and various processes related to the logistics and asset management program.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have an Active Top Secret US Government Clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Top-Secret Clearance.
- 2 or more years of experience in DoW Logistics/Supply Chain career field or equivalent.
- Intermediate to advanced experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
- Experience using asset tracking software tools/databases.
- Familiarity with DoD forms i.e. DD250, DD1149, DD1150, DD1348.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be task oriented with a highly developed attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently with minimal assistance and in a team/collaborative environment.
- Experience with and the ability to use material handling equipment ranging from pallet jacks to articulating fork trucks (occasional).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
- 4+ years of related experience.
- Experience working with online procurement and accounting software tools and processes.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate box truck, vans, or related government vehicles.
- Previous or current CDL class or endorsement.
- Forklift and Hazmat training and certifications.
- Prior military experience.
