Logistics Support Specialist
About the role
The Logistics Support Specialist plays a crucial role in managing all aspects of shipping routes and delivery, ensuring that OneRail meets its delivery promises to clients. This role also involves responding promptly to customer inquiries and addressing any delivery delays.
Responsibilities
- Attend to high volume of inbound and outbound calls, emails, and chats.
- Provide exceptional customer service to customers, couriers, and drivers.
- Maintain the delivery lifecycle from courier acceptance to proof of delivery, including tracking and tracing, problem resolution, and customer communication.
- Collaborate with delivery partners to optimize delivery execution within budgetary constraints and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, especially on critical loads and customers.
- Solve customer and carrier issues and assist in resolving problems.
- Report escalations to management to ensure timely resolution with minimal customer impact.
- Show enthusiasm for delivering high-quality service and continuous improvement.
- Aid in procedure optimization for scheduling deliveries from clients.
- Identify and communicate opportunities for operational enhancement.
- Enter order data and dispatch orders as needed.
- Coordinate with couriers to track delivery movements.
- Resolve shipping errors and track drivers.
Requirements
- Customer service and industry/contact center experience preferred.
- Attention to detail and efficient multitasking essential.
- Must be located in Orlando, Florida, and available to work at OneRail HQ (ZIP 32819).
- Demonstrated skills in managing multiple priorities across different electronic platforms.
- Ability to monitor and execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong decision-making skills to quickly assess situations and implement solutions.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
- Computer proficiency with web-based applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Benefits
OneRail offers competitive compensation packages. All Logistics Support Specialists are paid hourly and start at $22.00/hour. Bilingual (Spanish/English) team members receive an additional $1.00/hour pay differential, bringing their starting salary to $23.00/hour.
Pay
$22.00/hour base pay, with a potential $1.00/hour bonus for bilingual team members.
Schedule
Available schedules include:
- 5-day work weeks with 1 weekend day off.
- 4-day work weeks with both weekend days required.
