About the role
Coordinate and execute shipping, receiving, and inventory management activities to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods and materials.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of hourly shipping/receiving associates
- Prepare shipping documents, labels, and packaging materials for outbound shipments
- Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries
- Receive incoming shipments, inspect goods for damage or discrepancies, and process receipts in inventory systems
- Perform inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical inventory and system records
- Maintain organized and efficient warehouse and storage areas
- Lead inventory control tasks, including cycle counts and stock rotation
- Support annual Physical Inventory
- Support training for all employees (e.g., forklift, stand-up lift)
- Serve as back-up for Materials Manager; fill in during out-of-office periods
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Five (5) years of related experience
