Logistics Supervisor

About the role

Coordinate and execute shipping, receiving, and inventory management activities to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods and materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of hourly shipping/receiving associates
• Prepare shipping documents, labels, and packaging materials for outbound shipments
• Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries
• Receive incoming shipments, inspect goods for damage or discrepancies, and process receipts in inventory systems
• Perform inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical inventory and system records
• Maintain organized and efficient warehouse and storage areas
• Lead inventory control tasks, including cycle counts and stock rotation
• Support annual Physical Inventory
• Support training for all employees (e.g., forklift, stand-up lift)
• Serve as back-up for Materials Manager; fill in during out-of-office periods

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Five (5) years of related experience
