About the Role
Under the responsibility of the Manager, the Logistics Supervisor is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and overseeing logistics operations while providing coaching, development, and training to staff members. The successful candidate must recommend improvements to the facility, equipment, machinery, and processes, ensure staff performance meets standards, and drive progress toward business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, coordinate, and oversee day-to-day logistics operations
- Plan and review logistics processes in collaboration with the Logistics Manager to meet company standards and customer service specifications
- Establish work schedules and procedures, coordinating worker activities to ensure optimal shift/team logistics
- Accountable for site Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Collaborate with customers on all aspects of operations
- Meet regularly with team members collectively and individually to monitor progress, track performance, coach, counsel, and recognize successes
- Cultivate team spirit with a Diversity and Inclusion initiative and promote cooperation by improving internal processes
- Conduct performance evaluations, recommend performance awards, and address performance problems through corrective action or disciplinary processes
- Understand labor agreements and maintain positive labor relations
- Implement health, safety, and security initiatives, ensuring adherence to company rules and policies
- Provide orientation, information, technology, and materials necessary for employees and Lead Hands to perform their jobs
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- One (1) year or more experience in transportation, warehouse, or distribution environment preferred
- Zero to one (1) year of direct supervisory/leadership experience required
- DOT Regulated: No
Pay
Annual salary range: $60,000.00 to $65,000.00 based on experience.
Schedule
11:30 am to 8:30 pm
