Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain a culture of safety through regular presence on the floor, engaging with team members to identify improvement opportunities, and ensure completion of all relevant training and observations.
• Ensure all team members follow standard work procedures that allow for accurate inventory counts across all raw materials and finished goods inventory locations.
• Develop and sustain a staffing model to meet inbound and outbound shipment requirements while striving to remain a shipper of choice for carriers.
• Hire, train, develop, and grow a team of hourly associates to exceed customer expectations and consistently deliver financial results.
• Oversee responsibilities related to Food Safety and Quality.
• Other responsibilities as necessary.

Supervisory: This position has supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in Distribution/Warehouse setting or supply chain management role.
• Food/beverage and/or CPG experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP, WMS, and WES preferred.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle, reach with hands and arms, see, talk, and hear. The employee must stand, walk, stoop, or kneel and regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision. The work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions, occasional extreme cold, and loud noise levels.
