What is the opportunity?

  • Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him.
  • Act as the main point of contact and coordinate all air and ocean shipments for the Project department to the field offices (US/IHQ outbound).
  • Request quotes for and coordinate inbound and outbound International and some domestic transportation moves for International Disaster Response and Emergency Medical Response shipments.
  • Identify, label, and complete the Haz Mat/Dangerous Goods Declarations document and serve as the main point of contact to coordinate the transportation of hazardous material shipments.
  • Provide international transportation support for the Information and Communications Technology group.
  • Maintain and distribute as required the weekly shipment log and the tracking shipment log.
  • All other duties as assigned.

What are the qualifications?

  • As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; and three (3) to five (5) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires training and certification in hazardous material shipping.
  • Knowledge of FDA, EPA, USCBP, regulations related to Import and Export
  • Proficiency in MS-Excel and MS Access required
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies preferred, not required
