Logistics Specialist - Night Shift

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of shipping routes and delivery, specifically with regard to customer satisfaction.
• Proactively anticipate and defuse potential customer and vendor problems related to freight, packaging, and delivery.
• Communicate internally and externally regarding transportation requirements.
• Process customer requests for industry compliance.
• Work with suppliers and Product Engineering to ensure that all necessary documents are received and customer requests are fulfilled in a timely manner.
• Pull, stage, and QA orders for delivery.
• Receive and put away all deliveries.
• Perform goods receiving in SAP.
• Manage all aspects of the material trackers including reporting.
• Resolve accounts payable (AP) issues.
• Track all deliveries.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency with SAP (or similar ERP system) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to recommend and implement process improvements.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize within many different projects.
• Strong reporting skills.
• Excel in time management.
• Experience with warehouse operations, inventory control, and asset management.
