Responsibilities

  • Provide logistics and sustainment support to Assistant Program Managers for Logistics, Deputy Assistant Program Managers for Logistics, Product Support Managers, and Logistics Element Managers.
  • Analyze and improve supportability, maintainability, and readiness by evaluating logistics requirements, refining support plans, managing logistics and maintenance data, and supporting acquisition, cost, and systems engineering efforts to optimize system performance and total ownership cost.
  • Support program-related tasking from the PMA-261 CH-53K Facilities Logistics Element Manager.
  • Aid in data collection and translate data into clear, structured, and professional documentation.
  • Capture precise dimensions and comprehensive photographs of indoor and outdoor facilities and other applicable sites, including airfield features and various classes of U.S. Navy ships.
  • Utilize specialized field tools, including handheld laser measures and mechanical walking measurers, to record precise distances, perimeters, and clearances.
  • Use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio to execute daily tasking, document field data, create process flow charts, manage project schedules, and create facility diagrams.
  • Manage individual workflows, prioritize daily tasks, and drive solo initiatives to completion with minimal to no supervision.
  • Partner closely with internal team members to execute project deliverables and other assigned tasking.
  • Effectively translate complex, collected data into clear, structured, and professional documentation.
  • Apply strong critical thinking skills to resolve complex anomalies encountered during site surveys and daily tasking.

Qualifications

  • One year of related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if a degree is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business, management, or technical discipline.
  • Additional two years of experience may be substituted for an associate degree.
  • Additional four years of experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • At least two years of experience in acquisition logistics support and maintenance engineering.
  • At least two years of experience in operational logistics support and maintenance engineering.
  • Desired Experience: Marine Corps or Navy logistics and acquisition experience; Marine Corps or Naval Aviation maintenance and operations experience; CH-53 maintenance and operations experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and Visio.

Other Requirements

  • This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Requires periodic travel to CONUS and OCONUS military installations.
