Logistics Specialist I - University Hospital Nights

About the role

Onsite at University Hospital. Mon-Fri from 11p-7:30a with rotating weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates requisitions, inventory management, receiving, and projects.
  • Ensures orders are filled timely and accurately.
  • Verifies product by description, item number, and quantity.
  • Inspects products for damage, expiration, and proper packaging.
  • Performs cycle counts and physical inventories in an accurate and efficient manner.
  • Captures product availability and delivery, including equipment, mail, and linen.
  • Provides excellent customer service.
  • Maintains aisle/storeroom maintenance and cleanliness.
  • Utilizes the Warehouse Management System (WMS), Wavemark Point of Use System (POU), and Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) to document all ordering, filling, stocking, tagging, and registering activity.

Requirements

  • This position may require on-call rotation and weekend coverage.
  • This position may require operating a company vehicle.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent years of experience is required.
  • High School Diploma/GED preferred.
  • Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Requires 1+ years of experience in order stocking and filling.
  • May be required to obtain Material Handling Safety Training certification within 30 days of hire.

Skills

  • Continuous ability to lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist;
  • Continuous ability to lift up to 20 lbs from waist to over-the-head;
  • Continuous ability to carry up to 25 lbs.
