Logistics Specialist (All Experience Levels) – Nights
About the role
As a Logistics Specialist at Lonza, you will support the movement, storage, receipt, and shipment of materials within a fast-paced cGMP manufacturing environment. This role follows a 12-hour day shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a rotating schedule of alternating days: two on, two off, three on, two off, two on, three off (repeating cycle).
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, store, stage, and ship materials in accordance with GMP requirements and site procedures
- Perform inventory transactions and material movements using SAP, RF scanners, and other inventory management systems
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered industrial equipment
- Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliations, and proper material handling practices
- Review shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support warehouse, receiving, shipping, and kitting activities
- Maintain a safe, organized, and audit-ready work environment while following GMP, quality, and EHS requirements
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in warehouse, logistics, shipping, receiving, manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain operations is preferred
- Experience using SAP, RF scanners, or inventory management systems is preferred
- Ability to operate or learn to operate powered industrial equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
