Logistics Specialist I-SCP (2nd shift)

About the Role

The Material Handler verifies the receipt and transportation of raw materials and manufactured products to ensure conformance to customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Performs Logistics Duties by preparing and inspecting all finished goods for shipment according to the appropriate product specifications.
• Plans shipments with proper labeling, packaging, paperwork, and transportation of product according to procedures/specifications.
• Receives all incoming raw materials according to procedure; properly transports and stores materials.
• Operates and understands all required logistics equipment necessary for successful completion of assigned tasks; safely operates power industrial vehicles.
• Maintains Documentation by recording incoming raw materials and finished products, verifying shipment orders and lot identification, accessing and entering Oracle data.
• Demonstrates Math Skills by analyzing qualitative data; performing mathematical calculations; working with alphanumeric sequences.
• Improves Job Knowledge by attending training and keeping relevant knowledge and skills current.
• Demonstrates Interpersonal skills by working independently and with a team; attention to detail; effective time management; ability to meet deadlines; communicating product status.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s Degree preferred, not required).
