Logistics Specialist-Entry Level

Responsibilities

• Aid in warehouse management functions, including receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and inventorying materials and equipment.
• Support materials transportation activities, such as packing, shipping, and receiving.
• Follow established procedures for the safe handling and storage of materials, including hazardous materials.
• Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records to prevent damage and loss.
• Update inventory management systems to ensure accurate stock records and material accountability.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency, productivity, and accuracy.

Requirements

• Current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and safe material handling techniques.
• Possession of a valid CDL Class A or Class B license, or the ability to obtain and maintain one.

Benefits

The salary associated with this position ($64,000-$128,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
