About the role
As a Logistics Specialist at Stevens Industries, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that our products move efficiently from our facilities to our customers. Your responsibilities will include coordinating the daily flow of inbound and outbound shipments, planning, scheduling, and tracking deliveries to meet customer expectations, building strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, customers, and internal teams, coordinating logistics personnel and transportation resources, monitoring inventory levels, and maintaining accurate shipping, inventory, and logistics records.Responsibilities
- Cook up the daily flow of inbound and outbound shipments
- Plan, schedule, and track deliveries to meet customer expectations
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, customers, and internal teams
- Cook up logistics personnel and transportation resources as needed
- Maintain accurate shipping, inventory, and logistics records
- Help drive continuous improvement through efficient, cost-effective logistics solutions
Requirements
- Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or a related field
- Customer service experience is a plus
- Knowledge of logistics operations, transportation regulations, and supply chain best practices
- Experience working with ERP or logistics management software
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred, but not required. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
