Responsibilities
- Support sustainment operations by conducting analysis of War Reserve Materiel (WRM) and Prepositioned War Reserve Materiel (PWRM) to improve theater-wide sustainment visibility and readiness.
- Support joint sustainment working groups and other logistics forums to align component efforts and standardize reporting across the organization.
- Provide high-value analysis of logistics data to inform senior leader decisions, improve sustainment posture, and support contingency planning and exercises.
- Support operations center activities, including participation in battle rhythm events during steady-state and exercise operations.
- Cook with multiple stakeholders to validate and refine materiel positioning and sustainment planning across the operational environment.
- Develop and refine logistics tools, templates, and processes to enhance data visibility, reporting accuracy, and decision-making efficiency.
- Sustainment planning for exercises and operations by integrating logistics considerations into planning efforts and ensuring alignment with higher headquarters priorities.
- Provide technical assistance with logistics systems and data sources, including coordinating access to critical logistics information systems and tools.
- Identify operational use-cases for logistics enhancements and recommend improvements to sustainment processes, including leveraging emerging technologies where applicable.
- Maintain effective working relationships with program managers, senior leaders, and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- The Logistics Specialist must bring multi-functional logistics experience in industrial supply chain management processes, product support analysis, maintenance, planning, provisioning, sustainment, modernization, and readiness to meet operational availability thresholds.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills are required, along with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
Education and Experience
- This position requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- The following are desirable levels of experience:
- 5+ years of experience in DoD or related environment in a planning, operations or logistics role.
- Experience supporting large-scale operational or enterprise-level logistics functions preferred.
Clearance
- This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
Location
This position is located in Honolulu, HI therefore the candidate must currently live in Honolulu, HI.

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $110,000.00 to $135,000.00 (annualized USD).
