Logistics Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated professional at our Santa Ana, CA location. The role involves serving as a liaison within the logistics network, ensuring operational excellence, and supporting various supply chain functions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between 3PL, 4PL, carriers, and client entities.
• Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports and KPIs to ensure operational excellence.
• Produce and distribute department reports to various groups and stakeholders within the supply chain network.
• Provide shipment status to various business units within the organization.
• Download and analyze shipping data from TMS and WMS to identify in-transit status.
• Confirm deliveries (IOD) to TMS.
• Upload documents (POD) to TMS and NERP.
• Maintain daily communication with 3PL, 4PL, and carriers to ensure on time delivery.
• Identify trends and issues that can adversely affect on time IOD/POD collection.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of logistics industry standards and best practices.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to identify process improvements and streamline existing processes.
• Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple time-sensitive tasks.
• Actively support team projects and effectively communicate with team members.
