Logistics Specialist

Responsibilities

• Process hazardous materials, RD materials, and product sample shipments.
• Manage international shipments including documentation and proper packaging.
• Receive and dispense finished goods, WIP inventory, and packaging components to and from manufacturing facilities.
• Pick, pack, and ship clinical finished drug products to domestic and international destinations.
• Process rejected, returned, or expired drug products for destruction.
• Cooky site coordination and scheduling destruction activities with approved destruction sites.
• Maintain the inventory control system for drug products.
• Conduct inventory cycle counts and ensure accurate reconciliation results.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean, safe, and compliant manner.
• Safely operate material-handling equipment.
• Become fully proficient in applicable SOPs and perform responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Recommend changes or updates to SOPs as needed.
• Participate in the training of new team members.
• Access internal systems, databases, and RF scanners, ensuring accurate data entry and documentation.
• File and store documentation according to corporate retention policies.

Requirements

• A high school diploma with 0-5 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory systems, and inventory control concepts.
• IATA Certification and International Shipping Documentation Experience preferred.
• Ability to meet TSA requirements including successful background check.
• Ability to complete the Certified Cargo Screening Program (CCSP).
• Experience with warehouse material-handling equipment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and prioritization skills.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cooperative team environment.
• Ability to work occasional overtime.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. This role is classified as 100 onsite.
