Logistics Specialist 2

Job Description

The Logistics Specialist II will support the Gulfstream Service Center and Completions at the St. Louis airport. Responsibilities include processing pick tickets and material requests, operating material handling equipment, unloading and inspecting freight, maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating material flow, demonstrating safety and quality, handling dangerous goods, and participating in improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to lift up to 25 lbs during shift.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to obtain certifications to operate material handling equipment and meet all training requirements.
• Able to comply with FAA Regulations and all Quality procedures to include documentation.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work all shifts and weekends.

Compensation

The base compensation range for this role is $22.21 - $25.91 per hour. Final compensation will be determined by several factors including but not limited to: minimum and preferred qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience, and location.

Education and Experience

• Must have a couple of years of warehouse, shipping, receiving inspection or other related experience.
• Ability to obtain (one of) CDI, Q, PQ or RI stamps.
• Support inventory accuracy goals through regular and accurate cycle counting.
• Support inventory control processes by using handheld scanners for picking, putaway, and cycle count activities.
• Support Lean and sustainability initiatives.
• Assist in inventory audits.
• Perform other duties as required (i.e. DOT, Hazmat, Special Offloads and Customs and Carrier requirements).
