About the role

The Control Tower Analyst supports one of Pinkerton’s largest global clients within a centralized supply-chain hub. This role leverages security operations and logistics expertise to track safe-arrival shipments, conduct risk assessments, and perform data reporting and root-cause analysis. Analysts proactively communicate solutions for supply-chain security issues or potential delays in a customer-centric, innovative setting.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Resolve customer-service issues and build scalable services.
  • Partner with product teams to identify process improvements and propose service strategies.
  • Support identification of upstream and downstream supply-chain problems, such as risk events, and report issues before they escalate.
  • Track shipments from origin to destination and ensure receipt.
  • Innovate and simplify shipping processes, conduct risk assessments, and measure loss.
  • Maintain real-time knowledge of shippers and transportation vendors’ operating status.
  • Predict and detect delays or deviations from logistics plans.
  • Understand contextual information to enable shipping-plan adjustments.
  • Alert stakeholders when events modify a shipment’s plan or compromise security, safety, or secrecy.
  • Provide data for root-cause analysis to assess supply-chain risk and service-delivery opportunities.
  • Combine data and anecdotes to produce operational clarity and test hypotheses.
  • Operate a risk-monitoring dashboard to foster continuous improvement within customer business units.
  • Use real-world use cases to audit and develop program documents.
  • Maintain performance metrics including quality, productivity, and first-contact resolution.
  • Generate daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports and metrics as required.
  • Foster a customer-centric environment focused on quality, productivity, and scalability.
  • Perform all other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or higher with multi-year experience in a security operations center, crisis management/response center, or logistics department.
  • Tactical understanding of geo-intelligence disciplines, risk analysis, Lean/Six Sigma principles, or GPS tracking is a plus.
  • Shipping support knowledge or risk mitigation experience with confidential, sensitive materials in a global multimodal environment is beneficial.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the above qualifications.
  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas across the organization.
  • Advanced report-writing skills.

  • Ability to handle highly sensitive information appropriately.
  • Willingness to assist as needed.
  • Strong reasoning and complex data interpretation skills.

Working Conditions

Pay

USD $90,000.00 per year.
