About the role

The Logistics Sales Executives play a key role in managing transportation for customers in the ITS network. This position focuses on the procurement, management, service, and execution across multiple supply chains, ensuring goods move efficiently and reliably from origin to destination. Team members work closely with customers, carriers, and internal partners to deliver creative logistics solutions while maintaining service expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Procure capacity to ensure transportation of customer's freight happens timely and efficiently.
  • Sources and vets capacity to ensure carriers meet ITS high standards of excellence and safety.
  • Provides solutions to customer's supply chain challenges in time-sensitive, high-pressure situations.
  • Balances competitiveness with operational expectations in alignment with customer requirements.
  • Negotiates rates with carrier partners.
  • Maintains constant communication with customers to meet service expectations.
  • Builds relationships with carriers to thoroughly execute on customer's requirements.
  • Collaborates with multiple teams and departments across the division to optimize all shipments in the ITS Network.
  • Tracks all shipments consistently throughout transit to ensure on-time pick-up and delivery.
  • Provides real-time updates to customers on the location of their goods.
  • Ensures excellent data integrity in all systems.
  • Efficiently pairs shipments across the network and multiple teams to minimize cost.

Requirements

  • Experience: 0–8 years of professional experience preferred (entry-level position); previous experience in customer management is a plus.
  • Education: College degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain & Logistics, or related field required; experience in sales, supply chain, logistics or related field may be substituted for education requirements.
  • Skills, Abilities & Ideal Candidate Profile: Ability to build relationships quickly with all different personalities; excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong problem-solving abilities; highly detail-oriented; highly energetic and positive attitude; ability to accept constructive feedback to make long-term changes quickly; growth mindset.
