The Location: This position is based in Denton, TX.

Responsibilities

• Review production schedules and work orders for accuracy, help determine adequate personnel and materials are available, and ensure ability to meet customer demand.
• Develop and communicate daily production and shipping schedules.
• Coordinate deliveries of material utilizing company fleet vehicles, 3PL freight brokers and LTL carriers, while ensuring on-time delivery and maintaining cost-efficiency.
• Generate compliant bill of lading (BOL) documentation and oversee shipment tracking from origin to destination to be provided to internal and external customers.
• Review 3PL/LTL carrier performance on a consistent basis to ensure price competitiveness and service.
• Verification and recording of documentation on incoming and outgoing shipments by comparing counts, weights, or measures against bills of lading (BOL), invoices, orders, or other records.
• Receive incoming materials into ERP system after verification and maintain receiving documents per company procedures.
• Assist in performing inventory activities, including cycle counting.

Requirements

• Good written and verbal communication skills for daily interaction with diverse groups.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize assignments and remain flexible to meet business and customer demands.
• Flexible and responsive with a strong teamwork orientation.
• Ability to effectively implement solutions or respond to change.
• 1 – 3 years of relevant manufacturing analysis and process experience.
• Practical experience in manufacturing and logistics processes.
• Experience in using ERP systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, email systems.
