Logistics Operations Support Technician

This position is on site at the NIWC Pacific Bayside facility in San Diego, CA, supporting the Expeditionary Unmanned Systems (ExUS) project, unmanned equipment development and testing, and logistics for the Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC). Contingent upon award news, expected September 2026.

About the role

The Logistics Operations Support Technician will provide logistics support to track, manage, and maintain inventories of developmental, prototype, Fleet, and test and evaluation (T&E) support equipment and spare parts used in research, development, integration, and testing activities at NIWC Pacific.

Responsibilities

• Track and manage inventories of developmental, prototype, Fleet, and test and evaluation (T&E) support equipment and spare parts.
• Coordinate material shipments.
• Maintain spare parts inventories.
• Use inventory and parts management software systems.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Active Secret clearance on the first day of employment.
• Eligible for Forklift certification in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR Subpart N 1910.178 requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating material shipments.
• Experience maintaining spare parts inventories.
• Experience with using an inventory and parts management software system.

Pay

Target salary range: $40,001 – $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Schedule

• Full-Time.
• Day Shift.
• Travel: Yes – 10% of the time.
