About the role
As a Logistics Modeling Analyst at Booz Allen, you'll play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting complex data sets related to logistics and supply chain management. Your responsibilities will involve developing predictive models, conducting quantitative analyses, and creating visualizations to inform decision-making processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and apply predictive models using statistical and programming languages to analyze structured and unstructured data sources.
- Lead the development of logistics models, including discrete-event simulation, network modeling, and optimization techniques.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their logistics challenges and develop tailored solutions.
- Use tools such as ExtendSim, AnyLogic, Plotly, Seaborn, and ggplot2 to visualize and interpret data.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of computational models through rigorous testing and validation processes.
- Manage and optimize supply chains, including scheduling, storage, and transportation logistics.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with data exploration, cleaning, analysis, visualization, and mining.
- 5+ years of experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages like R, Python, or SQL.
- Experience with logistics modeling and analysis, including discrete-event simulation, network modeling, and optimization.
- TS/SCI clearance required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, statistics, operations research).
- Master’s degree preferred.

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The actual salary will depend on various factors, including location, qualifications, and organizational requirements.
Schedule
Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in our benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
