Essential Job Functions
- Provide expert-level logistics and product support expertise to Department of Defense (DoD) programs.
- Support government leadership with acquisition lifecycle planning, sustainment strategy development, risk management, and logistics execution to ensure mission readiness and long-term system viability.
- Identify and analyze funding, manpower, material, facility, and service requirements necessary to support assigned programs.
- Correlate program requirements with execution plans to ensure timely and effective logistics support.
- Develop and maintain sustainment planning documentation including LCSPS, ILSPS, PS-BCAS, DSOR/SORA packages.
- Develop and execute logistics and sustainment strategies, including Component Depot Activation (CDA) support.
- Address Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS) challenges through supply chain analysis and alternate sourcing strategies.
- Support all phases of the acquisition life cycle including source selection and acquisition strategy development.
- Assist in development of CBAS, ICDS, CDDS, and CPDS.
- Maintain requirements traceability and provide decision-support analysis.
- Support development of T&E documentation including temps.
- Provide logistics analytical support focused on supply, reliability, and maintainability metrics.
- Conduct Business Case Analyses (BCA) and trade studies.
- Develop briefings and milestone documentation for leadership reviews.
- Provide logistics input to RFPS, SOWS, and CDRLS.
Required Skills
- Due to the sensitivity of the customer, U.S. citizenship is required.
- Must have and be able to maintain a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 12 years of experience in the respective discipline, including 5 years in the DoD.
Desired Skills
- Master’s degree in related field with 10 years of experience in the respective discipline, including 5 years in the DoD.
- Experience integrating logistics functions to plan, implement, or execute logistics programs.
- Familiarity with the acquisition lifecycle and product support planning.
- Understanding of DoD 5000-series acquisition processes.
- Experience with Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements.
- Knowledge of PS-BCA, LCSP, and LHA processes.
- Knowledge of DoD program planning, funding, and management systems.
- Broad understanding of organizations involved in providing logistical support.
- Logistics management; program planning and baseline documentation.
- Experience with MIL-STD processes and products.
- Knowledge of DoD 5000 series acquisition processes.
- Foreign Military Sales (FMS) experience.
