Senior Logistics Manager with Security Clearance

About the role

NSI requires a Senior Logistics Manager (Configuration Management) to support the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) Program Office. The Logistics Manager will perform various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of systems supportability and maintainability programs and information systems, including configuration management for software releases and upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Provide configuration management for software, including releases and upgrades
• Identify and track software changes in the fleet
• Support test equipment and maintain working knowledge of test equipment
• Collect, compile, analyze, investigate, research, and apply logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information
• Decipher logistics involved concerning Technical Engineering Instructions (TEIs)
• Perform maintenance planning, logistics support, and supportability analysis
• Apply extensive knowledge of Navy/Marine Corps supply systems

Requirements

• Configuration management experience with avionics/test equipment software
• Thorough knowledge of the 4790 (Naval Aviation Maintenance Program) and NAVAIRINST 4130.1 Configuration Management Policy
• Experience in NAVAIR configuration management, including Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Technical Directives (TDs), Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), and Software Changes (ASC, ASB, SSC, SSB, etc.)
• Minimum four years analyzing logistics and maintenance in maintenance planning across the full spectrum of lifecycle planning; design interface, maintenance planning, and sustainment engineering
• Four years of DoD acquisition logistics experience conducting configuration management for a suite of test equipment or avionic software
• Secret security clearance (required); must be a U.S. citizen

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree, or four years of direct experience in lieu of degree

Skills

• Data analytics using Microsoft suite tools
• Proficiency in Excel using VBA/advanced formulas and Word macros
• Experience with detailed research and data mining, problem-solving by "following the data"
• Familiarity with LSA, LPD, Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), and other Supportability Analyses
• Experience using NAVAIR technical publications
• Demonstrated effective oral and written communication
