Logistics Manager
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage logistics operations supporting Mission Weapons Systems to ensure timely and effective delivery of materials and assets.
Cook up and participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPT) to align logistics strategies with program objectives.
Oversee asset management activities, ensuring accurate tracking, maintenance, and utilization of equipment and materials.
Maintain strict material accountability in compliance with defense regulations and organizational policies.
Support defense acquisition processes by providing logistics expertise during program development, procurement, and sustainment phases.
Develop and implement logistics plans, policies, and procedures to optimize supply chain efficiency and readiness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and operations, to resolve logistics challenges.
Prepare and present reports on logistics performance, asset status, and compliance metrics to leadership.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Logistics Manager, preferably within defense or aerospace sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of Mission Weapons Systems logistics and support requirements.
- Experience working within Integrated Product Teams (IPT) to drive program success.
- Strong expertise in asset management and material accountability practices.
- Familiarity with defense acquisition regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to analyze complex logistics data and develop actionable solutions.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of logistics management experience, with demonstrated success in defense-related programs.
Pay Range
$145,000 - $152,500 per year
