Logistics Management Specialist Support

Key Responsibilities

• Planning, managing, and coordinating life cycle logistics support in strategic sustainment acquisition activities for the enterprise Supply Chain
• Develop, publish and update supply chain strategies and associated implementation plans that support achievement of supply objectives through contractual, financial, and technical aspects of the acquisition life cycle
• Prepare presentations, papers, and other correspondence necessary to support logistics execution

Requirements

• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in DoW logistics or aircraft maintenance/sustainment
• Demonstrated experience supporting logistics planning, coordination, or program execution in a military or defense environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce professional guidance, reports, memorandums, and briefings
• Ability to coordinate across multiple functional areas and maintain visibility on competing priorities and schedules

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting installation-level bed-down, deployment, or mission transition activities
• Familiarity with aircraft sustainment planning processes and AFMC Supply Chain processes
• Experience working with Wing and Major Command level supply chain entities
• Background in Air Force or defense logistics environments strongly preferred
• Proven ability to support senior leaders with concise, accurate, and timely information
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong understanding of aircraft logistics, maintenance, and sustainment operations; Ability to track multiple actions simultaneously and ensure timely follow-through; Skilled in preparing executive-level written products and oral briefings; Strong coordination and organizational skills with close attention to detail; Ability to identify conflicts and recommend solutions in complex operational environments; Professional judgment and the ability to communicate effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams
