Logistics Management Specialist, SME
About the role
The selected candidate is an integral team member of the PdM M2S2 program office reporting directly to the Logistics Chief and Product Team Lead. This position will have a broad range of ILS responsibilities covering the full spectrum of Life-cycle Logistics support for the PdM M2S2 family of Radar systems.
Responsibilities
- Direct communication with all Product Teams, Functional Sections, the ILSC, Radar Units, Fielding Coordinators & Fielding/Training Team members, TYAD & other Depots, AMC, HQDA, ASAALT, OEMs and more.
- Knowledge and experience working with and drafting Life-cycle Logistics Documentation such as:
- Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP)
- Materiel Fielding Plan (MFP)
- Materiel Fielding Agreements
- Materiel Release
- Item Unique Identification (IUID)
- Maintenance Planning
Requirements
- Must be a US citizen and possess an active Top Secret level security clearance.
- Must have a Bachelor's degree (Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
- Must have at least fifteen (15) years of relevant Acquisition Integrated Logistics Support experience supporting Army or DoD weapons systems.
- Must have a fundamental understanding of military organizational dynamics.
- Must be a self-starter with extensive experience working as a member of a team but also can work independently with little or no supervision.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and accurately (both verbally and in writing) complex logistics and support concepts.
- Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, Power-Point, Share-Point and use of Government provided procurement and inventory databases.
