LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

About the role

You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating knowledge of Naval Nuclear Reactor supply support to ships, submarine, nuclear training platforms and naval shipyards.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

• Serving as a key member of the ILS Management Team (ILSMT) and active participant in Hardware Systems Command (HSC) meetings, leading supply support conferences and VTCs to determine, negotiate, and finalize vital lifecycle planning, provisioning, and configuration management plans for nuclear reactor-supported platforms
• Formulating and justifying wholesale and retail allowance budgets, develops PSICP Supply Support Management Plans (SSMPs), and monitors contractor milestones to ensure the timely delivery of critical logistics elements while staying within approved funding envelopes
• Monitoring repair programs for all material in support of nuclear reactor supply support to ships, submarine, nuclear training platforms and naval shipyards to maximize overall readiness
