LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

About the role

You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the SYSTEMS ACQUISITION GROUP, LOGISTICS INTEGRATION DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. This is the Combat Data Systems Assistant Program Manager for Logistics with the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF)/PMA 235.

Responsibilities

• Identify all activities involved in providing needed logistical support; integrate the actions required of each activity into a comprehensive logistics plan in support of or to be incorporated into overall program plans.
• Monitor progress in meeting the logistics plan and identify the cause and impact of delays or other problems (varying degrees of responsibility for taking actions to prevent or overcome such problems may also be included).
• Adjust plans for all related actions as required by changes to logistics requirements; and evaluate plans for and provision of logistical support for feasibility, efficiency, and economy, and to develop alternatives when required.
• Formulate the support and maintenance concepts and maintainability requirements for assigned weapon system.
• Determine/decide, based on technical information/feedback/funding availability, the best approach for expending resources to insure an adequate logistics support posture.
• Provide cost-supporting data and develop tailored application of the elements of life cycle costing based on authoritative knowledge of the unique characteristics of weapon system.
• Be responsible for acquisition planning and execution including schedule, technical, and fiscal management.

Pay

Minimum Salary: $143,913 – Maximum Salary: $187,093
