Logistics Management Analyst

Responsibilities

• Upload and download passengers and cargo on military and civilian aircraft
• Coordinate aircraft support functions with outside agencies
• Prepare cargo (rolling stock, containers, and palletized) for various modes of air transport
• Develop mission timelines to avoid costly aircraft delays
• Coordinate cargo movement with deployed leaders based on airlift capabilities
• Inspect, store, prepare, and document Hazardous Materials, including ammunition
• Process cargo through the Channel Airlift system and utilize multiple Air Force shipping ports
• Provide cargo preparation and logistics training to unit members
• Forecast, acquire, and maintain required supplies for transportation
• Manage fund sites to obtain Government and Commercial Bills of Lading
• Coordinate with Command Resource Managers to reconcile billing discrepancies
• Manage surface deployment of cargo/equipment for exercise and real-world sustainment objectives
• Serve as the command focal point for commercial line haul coordination
