About the role

The Logistics Lead (LL) checks and verifies the accuracy of selecting, packing, weighing, marking, and counting tires for customer orders, provides leadership in TireHub Logistics Centers (TLC), and operates TireHub vehicles to distribute tires while maintaining safe driving practices and delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Distribute tasks including general warehousing, delivery service, and vehicle maintenance, adjusting allocations as business needs evolve.
- Route and delegate tasks to Logistics Specialists in a dispatch-like format.
- Load, unload, inspect, and tally tires to and from transport vehicles (trailer trucks, box trucks, delivery vans).
- Complete customer service and warehouse duties.
- Verify accuracy of selecting, packing, weighing, marking, and counting tires for customer orders, ensuring they are in assigned staging areas according to the bin locator system while following TireHub safety standards.
- Operate order pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, delivery vehicles, and other equipment safely.
- Participate in cycle counting, tallying, and marking on inventory control documents, including annual physical inventories.
- Oversee proper unloading, loading, palletizing, and stacking of tires while ensuring safety guidelines are met.
- Communicate a detailed daily summary to leadership covering employee, safety, and operational overviews.
- Collect payments from customers on Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions.
- Ensure vehicles remain clean and in good mechanical/physical condition.
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections daily and report operational issues or mechanical defects.
- Maintain driver and vehicle maintenance logs regularly.
- Ensure compliance with all TireHub policies and procedures, as well as Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training through in-class, in-person, or computer-based learning modules.
- Complete other tasks assigned by leadership.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of general work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of driving history with a valid driver’s license (does not include driver's permit).
- Must be 19 years old.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to read, write, and comprehend.
- Experience with general warehousing, including proper placement of received and shipping products.
- Capable of frequent bending, pulling, rolling, twisting, and lifting.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using computer-based programs, including an iPad.
- Accurately and efficiently load, unload, and place tires in warehouse and delivery vehicles.
- Ability to work up to 35 feet above ground-level while tethered.
- Follow traffic rules and regulations while safely driving TireHub vehicles.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with Roadnet, GPS, and navigation systems.
- Maintain TireHub-sponsored forklift certification.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license.

Working Conditions
- Lift, pull, push, and/or move tires up to 50 lbs. or greater with or without mechanical assistance following standard operating and safety procedures.
- Regularly stand, walk, kneel, bend, crawl, climb, and balance.
- Spend extended periods working on a computer and performing repetitive keyboarding activities.
- Handle hazardous materials and wear protective equipment (gloves, protective eyewear, etc.).
- Specific vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Work in various settings, including non-climate-controlled warehouses and customer locations.
- Extended day, evening, and weekend work (including Saturday) may be required with little or no advanced notice.
- Driving during the night or in inclement weather may be required.
- Must not exceed 400 pounds in weight or 6 feet 3 inches in height to meet equipment and safety restraint compatibility (reasonable accommodations reviewed in accordance with ADA and relevant laws).
Pay
Starting wage of $21.15 with guaranteed increases of $2.00 over your first year of employment.
Schedule
Monday through Saturday – fluctuating day shift hours.
