It's more than a job As part of the Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing solutions that keep goods moving efficiently. At Kuehne+Nagel, your contribution goes far beyond the warehouse—it helps shape the flow of global trade. ‎ Ensure stable and accurate operations by serving as a primary link between warehouse operations, IT support, pre-sales, KN Implementations and clients. How you create impact Maintain consistent updates to the KN US PIA template which supports hardware price changes, hardware make/model revisions, recurring price adjustments, and new vendor onboarding. Primary link between KN operations, finance and vendors for procurement of new hardware needed to support warehouse operations. Maintain accurate listing of all KN approved vendors. Ticket creation, escalation & follow-up with KN IT. Confirm all hardware budgets with operations prior to initiation of project requests. Collaborate with KN vendors to obtain hardware quotes related to on-going operations (CI) initiatives and pre-sales PIA BOMs related to new implementations. Work with KN IT to obtain quotes on new, refreshed and expanded IT networking infrastructures. Utilize quotes from project initiatives to create investment applications for approval and PO creation. Place hardware orders with the vendors and monitor/communicate both lead times & deviations to operations and vendors. Manage the installation of hardware at sites, attending on site if necessary to verify correct installations. Primary link between the auditors, KN clients and operations to organize SOC1 audits and reports. Additional IT project management duties as allocated by manager What we would like you to bring 2+ years of experience in IT, IT infrastructure, hardware, technology operations, or a related field Bachelor’s degree preferred Hands-on experience with IT hardware and/or infrastructure Experience coordinating IT projects, technology implementations, or hardware deployments Experience working with vendors, quotes, purchasing, and equipment installations Strong experience collaborating across IT, operations, finance, and other business teams Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Experience with SOC 1 audits is a plus What's in it for you There has never been a better time to work in logistics.
