Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver all products in an accurate, safe and prompt manner
- Secure cargo for transport as outlined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety standards using chains/binders to conform with local, state and federal regulations
- Load and unload truck in most efficient manner, ensuring orders match manifests
- Conduct pre/post/periodic trip inspections to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good operating order at all times
- Maintain interior and exterior of truck to reflect professional appearance
- Maintain daily hours and service log according to state and federal regulations
- Demonstrate and instruct customer on the proper operation of equipment
- Train drivers, as needed
- Operate a forklift, as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of CDL driving experience, including heavy-haul and tractor/lowboy driving
- Valid CDL A licensure, required
- Excellent driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
- Thorough knowledge of DOT and Company safety standards and regulations
- Capable of operating, demonstrating and instructing proper equipment operation
- Able to operate a forklift
- Willingness to work additional hours as required by job and customer demand

Physical Requirements: Frequently sitting for extended periods of time, Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear, Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally move and/or lift up to 75 pounds, Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Pay
Starting Compensation Range: $28.53 -$41.32 per hour

Benefits
Bonuses are made in 2 equal installments at 90 days and 180 days of employment.
