Job Summary
General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) is a leader in remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars. This position involves planning and administering acquisition logistics strategies, processes, and tools. The role supports customer requirements and objectives, ensuring projects are completed within budget and timeline. It also focuses on improving standard acquisition logistics processes.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Participates in planning acquisition logistics strategies and establishing standard acquisition logistics processes and tools.
- Captures and evaluates test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications.
- Contributes to the development of acquisition logistics analysis products and documents.
- Supports acquisition logistics planning and database development processes, product support and replenishment system, product support data interchange systems, demand management and related functions.
- Maintains relationships with customers through acquisition logistics initiatives, integrating learning from customers, competitors, and industry groups.
Qualifications
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree and three or more years of progressive logistics management experience.
- Equivalent experience may substitute for education.
- Experience developing logistics products like MTA, LoRA, Spares Analysis, Provisioning Analysis, SECL, PHS&T Plan, and SERD.
- Must demonstrate understanding and application of acquisition logistics management concepts and principles.
- Proven skills in organizing, scheduling, and coordinating work assignments.
- Ability to contribute to the development of new processes and resolve non-routine technical matters.
- Customer-focused with the ability to identify issues, analyze data, and develop innovative solutions.
- Good analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Excellent computer and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Knowledge in one or more software/database tools: SLICwave Life Cycle, Haystack Gold Database, OPUS Suite, COMPASS Software.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
