About the role
Louis Vuitton Americas is looking for a Logistics Specialist who will play a crucial role in optimizing small parcel operations, focusing on cost analysis for carriers like UPS and FedEx on a weekly basis. This individual will be responsible for meticulously handling billing and invoicing for both small parcel and last-mile carriers.
Responsibilities
- Animate and visualize the small parcel vendor cost reporting to facilitate informed business decisions.
- Own and manage the relationship with Last Mile vendors, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and alignment with business needs.
- Develop and present rigorous data-driven insights to management for process changes and operational improvements.
- Collaborate with the transportation team to report on initiatives and successes related to cost savings.
- Liaise cross-functionally with supply chain, warehouse, inventory control, procurement, and customs teams on service and cost-related projects.
- Audit and accurately code transportation-related invoices for payment, submitting to Accounts Payable and following up to ensure timely disbursement.
- Work in conjunction with logistics and finance departments to simplify and streamline invoicing, payment, and reconciliation processes.
- Challenge transportation vendor invoicing and proactively identify cost-saving measures to management.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, reports, and vendor interactions.
- Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and stay abreast of industry best practices in logistics and supply chain.
- Act as the SME for sustainability initiatives within logistics, measuring and reporting on environmental impacts and opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a closely related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive professional experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations.
- Prior experience within the luxury goods sector is highly desirable.
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, conditional formatting, complex formulas) and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to import, format, and manipulate large datasets for analysis.
- Experience with SAP systems is a plus.
- Fluency in French is a plus.

Pay
The appointed candidate will be offered a salary within USD $80,000 - $85,000 annually.
