Join our dynamic team as a Logistics Developer, where you’ll play a vital role in managing daily transportation and logistics operations. Your expertise will ensure smooth communication between customers, drivers, and internal teams, driving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. This role offers an exciting opportunity for proactive problem-solving, process improvement, and direct engagement with logistics activities within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate deliveries and manage shipments
  • Resolve operational issues
  • Support continuous improvements in logistics workflows
  • Optimize costs and negotiate rates
  • Enhance communication with stakeholders to meet rigorous service standards

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch, or supply chain coordination
  • Strong understanding of dwell times, roll-offs, freight bookings, and transportation scheduling
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with logistics software, TMS, and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work on-site five days a week in College Park, MD
  • Experience in waste management, freight brokerage, or trucking is a plus
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation compliance
  • Bilingual communication skills are a plus
