About the role

Join our team as a Logistics Cost Specialist and optimize supply chain performance through financial analysis and strategic cost management. In this collaborative role, you'll analyze transportation, warehousing, and distribution costs, develop financial forecasts, and deliver insights that drive smarter business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Track and audit transportation and warehousing expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities across the supply chain.
• Lead the budgeting process for distribution and supply chain divisions, forecasting freight, tariff, and warehousing expenses.
• Investigate variances between budgeted and actual financial performance, providing root-cause analysis and corrective recommendations.
• Build financial models and utilize ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) to prepare dashboards and reports that inform executive business planning.
• Partner with logistics and operations teams to ensure supply chain strategies align with overall financial goals and profitability targets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration required.
• 3+ years' experience in logistics, supply chain, or financial analysis required.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and financial modeling.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP or Oracle required.
• Prior work with TMS or logistics tracking systems preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret large datasets and translate operational logistics metrics into financial insights.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial findings to cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) preferred.
