Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator performs administrative, clerical, and support functions in a fast-paced, high volume (40-50 trucks per day) shipping office. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the timely, accurate, and efficient shipping and receiving of finished goods and raw materials.

Responsibilities

• Prepares necessary domestic and export shipping documents and confirms order in appropriate computer system
• Completes driver check-in and check-out procedures
• Captures flow of finished goods by closely interfacing with planners, RB LCs, and carriers
• Schedules inbound component deliveries
• Captures drop lot operations; interfaces with third party spotting service
• Analyze and correct shipping & receiving discrepancies in appropriate business system

Requirements

• 1-2 years’ experience in shipping / receiving.
• Proficient with Word / Excel / Outlook

Nightly shift with 12 hour shifts/3-4 shifts per week with alternating weekends. 6 pm - 6:15 am
