Logistics Coordinator
About the role
The Logistics Coordinator will oversee and coordinate all inbound, outbound, and foreign to foreign freight movements, providing support to both internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
- Directs and coordinates the movement of all inbound, outbound, and foreign to foreign freight movements.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures to provide support to internal and external customers in determining cost-effective, timely, and compliant freight movements.
- Quoting freight charges utilizing preferred freight vendors, with comprehension of freight variables such as class, weight, dimensional weights, and service levels.
- Experience in white glove service/on-site packaging is preferred.
- Supports Trade in making decisions during the order acquisition process by providing solutions to complex logistics transactions.
- Provides outbound in-transit tracking for internal and external customers.
- Executes shipments including TL, LTL, and secured freight, with experience booking freight using online tools.
- Arranges freight movement and rearranges in-transit to satisfy customer needs.
- Coordinates the movement of drop shipments and processes receiving and shipping information through the ERP system.
- Works with freight vendors and management to ensure all freight charges are complete and accurate, as quoted by carriers in transactional quotes and negotiated tariffs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Typically requires a 2-year degree and 2–4 years of experience, or a high school graduate with equivalent related experience. May require specific certifications.
Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision. Identifies the problem and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assesses each using standard procedures, and makes sound decisions.

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate: $27.00
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
